Shraddha Kapoor celebrated three years of Baaghi by sharing a video of the action-packed sequences from the 2016 film. The actress is now gearing up for Baaghi 3.
As Baaghi turns three today, Shraddha Kapoor celebrated the success of the film by sharing some action-packed glimpses of her character Sia and her magical chemistry with Tiger Shroff. The film was all about impeccable action sequences that made it a success. While much was expected from Tiger who smashed the shackles of his enemies, Shraddha too personated the bold and brave image with her two or three punch scenes and some stunts.
In the second installment, however, which was a bigger success than the first movie, Shraddha was replaced by Tiger’s real-life girlfriend Disha Patani. The second film which was directed by Ahmed Khan was one of the highest opening day earners of 2018. Although it was another great story after Baaghi, it seems that the first instalment will be precious for Shraddha since now she will return to the franchise for Baaghi 3.
Shraddha who rose to fame with the film Aashiqui 2 alongside Aditya Roy Kapur has been delivering phenomenal performances and her last movie Stree was well-received by the audience. The horror comedy which was helmed by Maddock FIlms also starred Rajkummar Rao and Pankaj Tripathi. In 2018, the actress was also seen in Shahid Kapoor-starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu, which was a total dud box office. However, Baaghi saw Shraddha in a new light as she herself engaged in some action-oriented scenes.
On Instaram, Shraddha wrote, “#3YearsOfBaaghi #Baaghi3OnTheWay #2020.”
Baaghi which was directed by Sabbir Khan was helmed by Sajid Nadiadwala. Baaghi 3 hasn’t gone on the floors yet. In fact, both Disha and Shraddha were in talks for the leading lady and finally, the ball dropped in Shraddha’s court. It is slated to release in 2020.
Meanwhile, Shraddha has been shooting for the upcoming film Street Dancer 3D which co-stars Varun Dhawan. The actress will reprise her role from the earlier installment which was titled ABCD 2. Earlier, Katrina Kaif was considered for the role, however, due to dates in the schedule, the part was given to Shraddha. The film is slated to release on November 8 this year and is being directed by Remo D’Souza.
